We all know what flow is, getting in the zone.
Not too difficult, not too boring, right in the middle. Challenging enough to keep you hooked, comfortable enough so you won't run away.
Well, that's what they say to do at least. I do something different.
You see, I've conditioned myself to be in the zone in everything I do. I've developed mental endurance and apply repeatable brute-force techniques that will force myself to get better, whether it makes me comfortable or not. In fact, being uncomfortable is a sign of what I call overflow.
It is a form of forced flow, through self-confidence. It enables me to develop an obsession with everything I do.
I can do this because I don't get tired. I thrive on stress, fear, anxiety, exhaustion. When the going gets tough, I don't notice.
Because I know I'm growing.
If you can't start now, you can't start ever.
